Free kai is available every Thursday mornings 9.00 AM onwards for collection from our Te Ika Whenua Hauora office at 53 Oregon Drive, Murupara.

The Kaupapa of Rotorua Whakaora is "Connecting food to the community."

Rotorua Whakaora is a food rescue partner with Countdown Rotorua, Pak N Save Rotorua and are part of the NZ Food network as well as other food outlets who aim to work with local businesses, growers and manufacturers to access good surplus foods for distribution in the community.

Rotorua Whakaora Free stores have been rescuing and recovering surplus foods and distributing within the Rotorua region and surrounding areas including: Mangakino, Tokoroa, Rotorua, Murupara, Minginui, Kaingaroa, Maketu & Little Waihi for the past 9 years.
