Kai Rongoā, Rongoā Kai

Supporting the revitalisation, expansion, and practice of Mātauranga Māori within a Hauora Māori context including knowledge generation and transmission; to deliver services that meet the needs and aspirations of iwi, hapu, whānau and Māori (whānau centered and kaupapa Māori).


  • Providing services that are culturally safe and culturally responsive to our peoples needs that reflect mātauranga Māori

  • Wānanga and workshops to help return mātauranga to whānau (maara kai - community based garden, mahinga kai - community based practices of flora and fauna, maara kai and maramataka)
