Just as harakeke is woven together to create strength and resilience, we come together in this Waka Tūpāpaku Wānanga to weave knowledge, connection, and tikanga into the fabric of our whānau and hapori. Over three days, we shared kōrero, deepened our understanding, and honored the sacred traditions of our tūpuna.

We have been honored to work alongside our Tutor, Whaea Karen from KareNZ kitz to guide us through this journey, sharing her wisdom and expertise to enrich our understanding of Waka Tūpāpaku. Tēnei te mihi whaea!

Like strands in a whāriki, each of us holds a vital place in preserving and carrying forward the wisdom of Waka Tūpāpaku. Nau mai, haere mai – let’s weave together our stories, our learnings, and our aroha.
