Over the month of March, we held a short 4-week "Know Before You Go" Rangatahi programme, working with our rangatahi from local and surrounding communities, between the ages of 16-24yrs.

This programme consisted of a range of activities and kaupapa Māori that included goal setting, work readiness, financial literacy, self-love and upskilling with the aim of our rangatahi to feel and be more confident within themselves to be work and life ready.

On the last day with our rangatahi, we ended the programme with the presentation of certificates of achievement, followed by a shared hākari with our rangatahi and their whānau.

Although it was a short period of time, our Hauora staff thoroughly enjoyed working with our rangatahi and wish them the best in their future endeavours!

The bird that consumes the miro berry owns the forest, the bird that consumes knowledge, owns the world.
